Washington Post Launches PostPolitics.com

Watch out Politico. There’s a new destination for political news in town. The Washington Post today launched a politics mini-site, called PostPolitics.com, which gathers all the paper’s political reporting in a single place.

The Fix political blogger Chris Cillizza—he of last summer’s somewhat disastrous WaPo video experiment, “Mouthpiece Theater”—has been appointed the site’s Managing Editor.

“In coming phases,” says a WaPo press release, “the site… will offer more video, unique perspectives from an expanded number of bloggers, easier ways to share content with social media networks, must-read content aggregated from elsewhere and original polling.”
