Warner Bros. announces free-to-play Batman: Arkham Origins for iOS, Android

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment have announced Batman: Arkham Origins for iOS and Android devices. Developed by NetherRealm Studios, the game is a brawler that sees Batman taking on a variety of DC Comics’ greatest villains, the identities of which are still unknown.

The free-to-play title will see players earning in-game currency and rewards as they continue to play the game, with numerous Batsuits also being available to unlock.

In addition, the game will connect back to the Batman: Arkham Origins console game [pictured] on Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii U, PlayStation 3 and PC.
