WaPo Suspends Reporter For Plagiarism

The Washington Post announced late Wednesday that it was suspending one of its investigative reporters after she was found to have plagiarized text from another newspaper.

Sari Horwitz, who WaPo media reporter Paul Farhi called one of the Post’s “most seasoned” and who has won two Pulitzer prizes, took sections of stories from the Arizona Republic when writing her articles about the investigation into Tucson shooter Jared Lee Loughner.

The culprit? The ol’ cut and paste notes document, sources told Farhi.
