Wanted: Top middle-aged actress
Reliable Source reports today that HBO is nearly finished with its bio-pic of former Post publisher Katharine Graham — you know, once it resolves those pesky details like finishing the script and finding someone to fill the title role.
Rumor has it that possible leading ladies include Annette Bening, Helen Mirren and “just about every top middle-aged star in Hollywood.” (That ought to have the ladies lining up to audition.)
When the script is completed and an actress is found, however, the project will likely be directed by the Emmy-winning Tom Hooper.
