Vongo Adds Samsung to Portable Media Player Support
Samsung and Vongo, a streaming movie service, just announced compatibility with Samsung’s new touch screen P2 portable media player. This expands an earlier arrangement where Vongo subscribers could transfer movies to watch on Archos, Creative, and Toshiba players.
As of late, Vongo’s been steadily increasing their movie library. They now offer 2,500 titles; that’s still a drop in the bucket compared to most DVD rental houses, but that’s not Vongo’s fault. It’s due to stringent licensing agreements from the movie studios that only allow movies to be shown this way in a certain block of time after the movie’s release.
