Vogue Sued Over Video of Kimye Cover Shoot

Singer claims song in behind-the-scenes vid contains unauthorized samples

As if Vogue’s Kim Kardashian and Kanye West cover hasn’t already attracted enough attention, the Condé Nast fashion bible is now being sued over a behind-the-scenes video of the cover shoot it created to accompany the now-infamous issue.

Ricky Spicer, a former member of '70s boy band The Ponderosa Twins Plus One, has filed a lawsuit against Vogue and Condé Nast for using Kanye West’s “Bound 2”—which, Spicer alleges, contains unauthorized samples from one of his Ponderosa Twins songs—as the soundtrack for the video on Vogue.com.
