Twitter announced last October that it would discontinue looping-video application Vine, adding in December that Vine would be replaced by a pared-down app called Vine Camera. That transition occurred Jan. 17.
However, Twitter quietly turned vine.co into an archive of Vines from 2013 through 2016, which users can search:
- By year—2013, 2014, 2015 or 2016.
- By genre under Highlights—animals, art, comedy, edits, music and dance, sports and weird.
- Editor’s Picks.
