Video Creation Platform Vemory Acquires Video Editing App Splice

Photo organization and video creation platform Vemory has announced its acquisition of video editing app Splice. The acquisition will see Vemory expanding Splice’s own features, while also integrating Splice’s video editing technology into the Vemory video creation platform. Splice will continue to operate as a separate app.

With Vemory, users import images from their device’s camera roll, as well as social media profiles, including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, among others. The app organizes these photos and gives soundtracks to groups of themed images, presenting them to users as videos.
