Veranda Names New Editor
Clinton Smith has been named editor-in-chief of Veranda. Smith has been the editorial director of Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles since 2008.
“Clint has devoted his career to covering style, design and decoration, and there is no one better qualified to take the helm of Veranda,” said Newell Turner, editorial director of the Hearst Design Group, in a statement. “His strong relationships with designers and manufacturers are a tremendous asset, and his passion for great design will inspire readers of every issue.”
Smith will report to Turner and David Carey, president of Hearst Magazines.
