Vanity Fair to Profile Bill de Blasio

The article will be written by Bryan Burrough.

Mr. Mayor, your closeup is here. Again. According to Crain’s New York, Vanity Fair will publish a giant profile of Mayor Bill de Blasio in its September or October issue.

The piece will be penned by Bryan Burrough and be anywhere from 6,000 to 12,000 words long. Details are scant because the information was pulled from an email a VF staffer accidentally sent to a Crain’s reporter. Oops.

VF, of course, has issued a non-denial denial about the profile. “We don’t comment on whether we are or are not working on a story,” a spokesperson told the New York Post.
