Val Boreland Takes A Step Up At Comedy Central

Earlier today Comedy Central announced the promotion of Val Boreland to SVP of programming, promotion, and multiplatform strategy.  Boreland’s fancy new title will add some new responsibilities to her scheduling work with Comedy Central’s programming and promotions group.  She will now manage the network’s digital platforms — namely wireless, VOD, and emerging technologies — while maintaining a focus on long-term initiatives for the channel.

Boreland will report to executive VP of program strategy and multiplatform programming David Berneath.
