US Virgin Islands to run Digital Textbook Pilot Program
Last week the U.S. Virgin Islands Legislature approved funds for a new pilot program to run during the 2012-2013 school year. Not all details have been decided, but the program will likely cover several grade levels of elementary, junior high school and high school students. The specific e-readers use din the pilot have not been chosen yet, but a number of gadgets including the Kindle, iPad, and Nook are being considered.
The pilot will be funded from the V.I.
