US eBook sales Are Up and Down in March

The  Association of American Publishers (AAP) has just released new sales figures for March 2011, and there’s good news and bad news.

eBook sales were up from last year, but down from February 2011. March eBook sales totaled $69.9 million, compared to $90.3 million in February 2011. Still, this was a big improvement over March 2010, which saw $28.1M in sales (a 145.7% increase).

Curiously enough, eBook sales followed a similar pattern last year, where there was a peak from December 2009 to February 2010.
