Updated: Vogue Vet Phillips Hired as In Style Publisher
Time Inc.’s In Style has hired Vogue’s Connie Anne Phillips as publisher, the second sales-side exec that the Condé Nast title has recently lost to In Style. She starts Feb. 23.
Phillips spent 14 years at Vogue, where she rose through the ranks, serving as associate publisher for eight years and most recently as managing director. She succeeds Lynette Harrison, who stepped down.
Harrison’s departure followed a recent Time Inc.-wide reorganization that grouped In Style in with the People Group, which is headed by president and group publisher Paul Caine.
