Update: Geek Monthly Closed
On Friday, we wondered aloud whether Geek Monthly had shuttered. We reached out to the magazine’s publisher, Fusion Publishing, with no luck. But BlogMagazine.com confirmed today that the lifestyle mag has folded.
What’s more, in addition to all the griping on the magazine’s Facebook page, we also heard from one perturbed freelancer who wrote an article for Geek Monthly‘s November issue and has still not been paid. It’s a sad story we hear from writers and freelancers with some frequency.
