Super Bowl LII: Philadelphia Eagles Dominate Growth, Engagement on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram

Unmetric analyzed the three social networks from Feb. 1 through 5

To the victors go the spoils, especially when the victors were underdogs that pulled off a huge upset victory in Super Bowl LII.

Social marketing firm Unmetric used its cross-channel reports to analyze the performances of the victorious Philadelphia Eagles and runner-up New England Patriots across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram from Feb. 1 through 5, and the Eagles dominated on the three social networks.

The Eagles posted the most growth on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram; the most engagement across the three social networks; the most posts on Facebook; the most likes on Facebook and Twitter; and the most comments on Twitter.

Meanwhile, the Patriots—who boasted the highest audience size across all three social networks studied by Unmetric—had to settle for tallying the most tweets and Instagram posts; the most likes on Instagram; and the most comments on Facebook and Instagram.
