60% Of UK Social Networkers Are Concerned Their Information Is Being Monitored [STUDY]

Six in 10 internet users in the United Kingdom are concerned that social networks are monitoring or collecting their information, with female and older users more concerned than males and the younger generation, suggests new research from TNS BMRB.

63 percent of women and 56 percent of men said that they were concerned about how platforms such as Twitter and Facebook were using their personal data, although users aged 18-24 were significantly less concerned than their older counterparts.
