UK Consumers Slow To Adopt eBooks

Readers in the UK are not adopting eBooks, at least according to a new study from Book Marketing Limited called “Understanding the GB Digital Consumer.”

According to The Book Seller: “The majority of Great Britain has yet to download an e-book and say they are unlikely to do so in the next six months, according to a new survey.”

The study found that in the UK only 19% of adults have downloaded eBooks, book extracts or chapters, 18% have downloaded free eBooks and only 7% have paid to download eBooks.
