Type Directors Club Award Winners (Panel Worries About What Typeface to Use for the Certificate)

The news hitting late yesterday from that wonderful world of type was the announcement of the winners of this year’s Type Directors Club awards. Loads of pretty things to look at, particularly if you like looking at beautiful letters next to other beautiful letters. Our favorite and the one we’d like our first novel “Alissa and Steve and the Case of the Mysterious Yeti” laid out in exactly as in the example: Cyrus Highsmith’s Quiosco. Sure, with the four columns, it’d be a little hard to read, but damn if each page wouldn’t be a masterpiece (spoiler: despite all the scares and adventures, the Yeti turned out to be just a big pile of laundry placed in a dark room).
