Tyler Thoreson Named Observer Digital Managing Editor
The Observer named a new managing editor for Observer Digital: Tyler Thoreson, who had been executive editor of men.style.com, the online home of Condé Nast’s GQ and Details.
Thoreson will start at Observer Digital Feb. 15, where he will oversee Observer.com, Very Short List, and future Web or mobile properties.
Thoreson has previous experience with The Observer as a fact-checker in 1996, and he has also served as a free-lance editor for IMG, handling projects for companies including AOL and Knight Ridder Digital.
