Two Days After the Election, CQ Roll Call Will Be Hosting Its Election Impact Conference

Former Senators Tom Daschle and Trent Lott will be among the speakers.

Next week, the election won’t be the only major event on CQ Roll Call’s docket. The publication will also be prepping for its biennial Election Impact Conference, wherein speakers, including former Senators Tom Daschle and Trent Lott, will take a look at what we’re in for following America’s Election Day decision.

The conference first started in 1980 and brings together lawmakers, analysts, government employees, campaign managers and editorial staff from CQ, Roll Call and The Economist, who are there to give their take on what 2017’s new Congress, and this year, presidency, will bring.

Some of this year’s topics include musings on such zeitgeist-y ideas like: “Can This Country Be Governed?” and “Cyber Pearl Harbor: Hysteria or Imminent Threat?”
