The VMAs are among the most-buzzed about events on Twitter every year. Last year, it was the third most-talked about special TV event, with more than 12.6 million tweets sent.
Fashion designer Jeremy Scott created a colorful redesign of MTV’s iconic moon man, an image that was picked up by Twitter and is available as a hashtag when someone tweets #VMA or #VMAs.
