When Twitter officially rolled out its Topics feature for iOS last November, followed days later by Android and the web it also detailed features for Topics that it planned to test or debut this year.
The social network added to that list Thursday, saying in a blog post that in the coming months, users will be able to follow conversations about a topic the same way they currently follow an account: with a single tap.
As the social network previously detailed, suggestions for Topics to follow will appear in its timeline and search results, based on what people already follow and tend to search for.
Twitter wrote, “Previously, all of the work was on you to figure out the best way to keep up with what’s happening by following certain accounts, searching for it or looking in the Explore tab for the latest.
