Cool Job Alert: Twitter Hiring Video Editor/Producer

Yes, we’re bringing you news of yet another cool job posted at Twitter.

If you love nothing more than creating and watching Vines, that won’t qualify you for this job, but combine that enthusiasm with actual expertise and you might have a shot!

The Video Editor/Producer will be an important part of Twitter’s video team and will “help produce and edit the stories, videos and case studies that elucidate the value of [Twitter’s] service and articulate the discursive elements of [Twitter’s] brand.”

And the job description is testament to the writing skill this position requires. No slouches need apply. Lover of adjectives and energy will be given top priority:

Your approach to narrative equally delights and informs. You have an organized mind that bursts with creativity and possess a relentless hunger to create the best possible work.

You also must be “a super awesome and passionate video maker and all this stuff:

  • Strong motion graphics and title design expertise with an acute eye for detail
  • Solid foundation in Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • Strong visual skills, including an eye for good lighting, shot composition, and use of color
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize projects, and communicate progress and expected milestones
  • Ability to use existing Twitter guidelines, with an eye toward evolving and iterating them to create new design paradigms
  • Strong ability to script, storyboard, and plan shot sequences
  • Works well with a team; seeks collaboration with other designers, PMs, and engineers
  • Active Twitter user
  • Hustle, drive, hunger, and the willingness to push for the best possible result
