The U.S. Women’s National Team’s 2 goals sparked conversation, but so did 'equal pay'

The chants for “equal pay” that rang out at Parc Olympique Lyonnais in the Lyon suburb of Décines-Charpieu in France after the U.S. Women’s National Team defeated the Netherlands to win FIFA Women’s World Cup France 2019 caused tweets about “pay” to spike by five times Sunday compared with prior to the match that morning.
