Twitter Users In Canberra, Australia Are Aggressive, Anxious And Sad [STUDY]

It’s not quite clear what it is about the capital of Australia that has people down, but findings from a new Twitter study suggest that residents of Canberra are aggressive, anxious and sad – at least judging from their tweets.

As the Courier Mail reports, this 8-week study examined all tweets generated by Australians between March and May of this year. Conducted by the University of Technology Sydney, the study sought to understand how different sociographic categories of tweeps tweeted across the country.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, Australians in general are anxious in the morning, become aggressive during the work day and more positive and affectionate into the evening.
