Twitter Reveals Top Trends of 2009
Twitter chief scientist Abdur Chowdhury revealed the top Twitter trends of 2009 in a post on the Twitter Blog.
The winners were as follows (see the complete lists after the jump): #iranelection for News Events, Michael Jackson for People, Harry Potter for Movies, American Idol for TV Shows, Super Bowl for Sports, Google Wave for Technology and #musicmonday for Hash Tags.
