Two More Are Out the Door at Twitter: Renee Atwood, Jeffrey Siminoff

The social network loses its chief human resources officer and vp of diversity and inclusion

You know things are getting bad at Twitter when the two latest executives to leave have the words “inclusion” and “human resources” in their titles.

Twitter confirmed to Megan Rose Dickey of TechCrunch that chief human resources officer Renee Atwood has left the company, telling her:

Renee has left the company for personal reasons. We thank her for her contributions during her time at Twitter and wish her all the best in the future.

Atwood had only been with Twitter since last August.

Meanwhile, vice president of diversity and inclusion Jeffrey Siminoff announced his departure in two tweets Tuesday afternoon (embedded below):

Siminoff joined Twitter in December 2015 after serving as director of worldwide inclusion and diversity at Apple.

A Twitter spokesperson told Dickey that Siminoff’s departure was unrelated to the company’s recent diversity and inclusion update.
