Twitter Parody Accounts: Even Russian President Dmitry Medvedev Can't Escape Them

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev proved to not be exempt from the wave of parody Twitter accounts, as his @KremlinRussia account, which launched last month, was the target of @KermlinRussia, which is doing its best to prove that imitation is not the most sincere form of flattery.

The parody account has nearly 4,000 followers, and Reuters reported that most of its Tweets are direct responses to Tweets from Medvedev’s authentic account, with one of them reading, “One needs to understand that money given to modernisation and innovation will be spent on corruption and swindling.”
