Video games were a hot topic on Twitter in 2019, with the social network revealing that more than 1.2 billion gaming-related tweets were shared last year. Twitter said this was a year-over-year increase of almost 20%.
Fate/Grand Order was the most-tweeted-about video game in 2019, followed by Fortnite and Final Fantasy.
Overall, Japan tweeted the most about gaming in 2019, followed by the U.S. and South Korea.
