Twitter’s has had a strong working quid pro quo relationship with the major fashion brands for many years now and you won’t find a better example of this than at the major catwalk events that take place at the fashion capitals of the world throughout the year.
Last week it was the turn of New York, and more than 1.2 million tweets were sent about New York Fashion Week (#NYFW) between September 4th and September 12th, reports Twitter.
Michael Kors beat Ralph Lauren and Alexander Wang as the most tweeted-about brands, and this tweet from Rihanna picked up the most retweets.
