Twitter Is Looking for a More Diverse Technical Workforce

Applications are being accepted for its Twitter Engineering Apprenticeship Program

Twitter is now accepting applications for its Twitter Engineering Apprenticeship Program, which is aimed at bringing more diversity to its technical workforce.

Engineering lead Mike Montano and vice president of people experience and head of inclusion and diversity Dalana Brand said in a blog post that the company wants to bolster its tech team with people from nontraditional backgrounds (such as coding bootcamps, self-taught coders, veterans and caregivers returning to the workforce) and underrepresented groups (women, African Americans, Latinx, Native Americans).
