Twitter is letting its iOS and Android users know what’s Happening Now.
The social network announced that its mobile users in the U.S. will start seeing featured events appearing atop their timelines under the Happening Now banner, starting with sports events.
Entertainment, breaking news and other events will be added “in the coming months,” Twitter added.
More details were made available on this Twitter support page: “You may see events featured at the top of your timeline labeled as Happening Now.
