But in print, indeed, the jig is up. Per an article by AP writer Hillel Italie that is being member-syndicated left, right and center, the account’s spot-on emulation of Tricky Dick is the work of a local who authored the 2006 play Mickey Mouse is Dead:
Admirers have speculated that the account manager is a politician, a journalist or even a member of the Nixon family.
