The BRITs On Twitter: 4 Million Tweets, 78,976 Tweets Per Minute Peak [STATS]

Did you watch 2014 BRIT Awards?

Ghastly, wasn’t it? Boring, poorly presented and a really shining example of amateur from start-to-finish. Still, that didn’t stop close to one million people talking about it on Twitter – with more than four million tweets sent during the night, the 2014 BRITs has become the most tweeted about television show in UK history.

An average of 27,268 tweets per minute (TPM) were sent during the event, peaking at a new record peak of 78,976 TPM.
