Twitter Users Will Soon Be Able to Bookmark Tweets and Save Them for Later

The feature has been one of Twitter's most requested

Twitter is developing the ability for users to bookmark tweets and save them for later reading.

Vice president of product Keith Coleman revealed the news in a tweet, sharing a Moment from product manager Jesar Shah.

Coleman said in his tweet that the feature had been a “top request,” and it came out of the social network’s Hack Week.

Shah offered more details in a series of tweets, which included a GIF depicting how the early prototype of the feature works and an invitation for users to participate in the development of the feature: “We want to build this with you all, so we need your help. We’ll be tweeting to ask for feedback and share our thinking as we compare designs, experiment, do research and more. You can tweet at us using #SaveForLater. More to come. We are excited to work on this with you all. Follow @tinastsh [staff product designer Tina Koyama] and me for updates.”

Her moment, which was shared by Coleman, featured ways that users had been working around the lack of a “save for later” feature.
