Twitter Adds Hateful Conduct, Violence to List of Link Types It May Block

Accounts sharing URLs that violate its policy face suspension

Just hours after Twitter limited the account functionalities of Donald Trump Jr. for 12 hours due to a video he shared that contained misinformation about the coronavirus pandemic, the social network shared an update to its policy on links.

Twitter said in a Twitter Support tweet late Tuesday that hateful conduct and violence were added to the list of link categories it may block, and that accounts sharing links of this sort face suspension.
