Twitter 'Happy' for Users Not to Tweet

Around 40 percent of all registered Twitter users do not tweet, and approximately 2-3 times its 271 million active users – somewhere between 540 to 710 million people – view Twitter content across the web but do not login.

That might be a problem for some companies. But Adam Bain, president of global revenue and partnerships at Twitter and considered by many as CEO Dick Costolo’s second in command, is fine with that.

“Things that happen on Twitter don’t just stay on Twitter,” said Bain in an interview with CNBC earlier today.
