Twitter Emoji Are Off and Running for 2017 IAAF World Championships

Usain Bolt's last-ever race will take place during the event in London

Twitter is in the starting blocks for track and field’s 2017 IAAF World Championships, which begin in London Saturday.

The social network created three hashtag-triggered emoji for the event.

Tweets containing the hashtag #BeTheNext will trigger a rendering of Usain Bolt’s lightning bolt pose, honoring the fact that Bolt’s last-ever race will take place during the event.

#MoFarah, #OneMoMile or #MoBot will trigger an emoji featuring Mo Farah’s “Mobot” celebration stance.

Finally, #London2017 will trigger the track-and-field emoji pictured above.
