TweetDeck for Android Beta Released

TweetDeck on Android – Come And Get It!

So, I pointed the Android browser at

http://www.tweetdeck.com/api/android_whitelist/

and did NOT download and install the app. Why? In order to enjoy the privilege of trying the beta app, you need to login with a TweetDeck account (I don’t have one), wait for an email to arrive, click on the link in the email and then, finally, download and install the beta app. This seemed like too much work for a product that has not appealed to me on the desktop (takes up too much screen space) or iPad (too slow).
