True/Slant Quietly Closing Shop
Looks like July will be the last month for pro-am blogging site True/Slant, which was bought by Forbes Media in late May.
A handful of True/Slant bloggers — Neal Ungerleider, Todd Essig, Laurie Essig and Rick Ungar — have penned farewell posts for the site over the past couple days, and Ungerleider writes, “The site, unfortunately, is winding down operations at the end of July.”
All four goodbye posts allude to a new project due out in September.
