Had an eventful Labor Day and missed this crazy blood-and-guts story in the LA Times about the murder of Christopher Ash. Reporter Victoria Kim was at the trial and picked this delightful nugget up in testimony.
After he stabbed Ash, Covarrubias said, he was overcome by the blood and smell and threw up, dropping the knife. Another gang member grabbed the knife and continued stabbing, he said… “You participated in the murder of your girlfriend’s brother, right?” Bestard questioned.
