Traveling With An iPad
If you are planning to travel in the near future and only take an iPad, you may want to check out Wired’s article on eight tips for traveling with the iPad. I found the article has some tips, like obtaining maps that you can view offline, that I had not thought about before. A point that the article is not clear about is that only the iPad model that has 3G and Wi-Fi has GPS, if your iPad only has a Wi-Fi radio it does not have a GPS.
One thing the Wired article does not get into is the question of what will you do with the iPad while you are traveling.
