Travel + Leisure's First Annual Design Awards
Earlier this week, Travel + Leisure Magazine announced the winners of their first annual Design Awards. Their big guns jury was moderated by Chee Pearlman, former EIC of ID Magazine and current “Consulting Design Editor” for T+L. Included on the jury: Charles (Sculpture for Living) Gwathmey, Tyler (I Started the Hippest Interior Design Magazne Ever) Brule, Murray (My Store is SO Expensive) Moss. Awards were given in the following categories:Best Museum, Best Restaurant, Best Travel Gadget, Best Retail Space, Best Cultural Space, Best Transportation, Best Luggage, Best Hotel (Fewer than 75 Rooms), Best Hotel (75 Rooms or More), Best Infrastructure, and Best Public Space.
