Trade Round-Up: August 21, 2007

Variety’s Daniel Frankel and Ben Fritz tag team on a story about the drama surrounding Paramount and DreamWorks Animation’s DVD decisions. Paper announced on Tuesday that the studios have exclusively picked HD DVD for all future releases. The story details the move, saying that it’s the third by Paramount in an “ongoing format war,” not to mention DWA’s Jeffrey Katzenberg’s back-and-forth quotes on the format.
