TorrentFreak: District 9 Wins Best Picture at BitTorrent Oscars
The Hurt Locker took home the Best Picture Oscar at the 82nd Annual Academy Awards Sunday night, but according to TorrentFreak, it should have come in third, behind District 9 and Avatar.
TorrentFreak compiled a list of how many times each of the 10 films nominated for Best Picture were downloaded on BitTorrent, adding the clarification that the movies have been available for different lengths of time, with some being downloaded for more than one year.
