The September issue of Condé Nast’s W is the first under new editor Stefano Tonchi, and it’s being hailed as a wholly new take on the fashion mag.
As part of the media blastoff, fellow Condé title Women’s Wear Daily has a Q&A with Tonchi. Of premiere importance: New, italicized logo, in Benton font!
It’s kind of skinny, it’s very vertical. It’s very elegant and it is italic, with a sense of movement, evolution.
