Tina Fey and Amy Poehler Destroyed Bill Cosby Last Night

In case you missed last night’s Golden Globes, the show’s only real surprises were near-shutouts for True Detective and Selma (which did win the award for best oroginal song).

Other conclusions drawn from the show: Bill Cosby is now officially fair game for every comedian and media critic in America. The opening monologue by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler is worth watching again; their Cosby knock starts at 8:50:

Also notable: Tina Fey’s subtle critique of sexism in the entertainment industry by way of George Clooney (who was, we presume, happy to play the role of low-hanging fruit) and his incredibly accomplished wife Amal.

Seems that Cosby jokes will continue to fly in the media now, no matter how actively his lawyers threaten the responsible parties.
