Time Out Magazine Rolls Out 8th U.S. Print Edition in Philadelphia
Per usual, a run of 75,000 copies will circulate
This may well be the best inaugural cover yet for a U.S. quarterly print edition of Time Out magazine.
In support of the cheeky retro-Polaroid composition, the editors have layered in captions that feature full-on Philly speak. ‘THE ORIGINAL GAYBORHOOD, THANK YOU VERY MUCH,’ reads one cover-line caption, below a picture of a rainbow-colored crosswalk. ‘BEST STREET ART IN THE U.S. (DON’T EVEN TRY TO ARGUE.)’ crows another.
From today’s announcement:
Time Out Philadephia’s content team collaborated on unique features with several veteran Philadelphia arts and culture writers including food writer Drew Lazor, music writer Patrick Rapa, long-time theater critic David Fox and humorist/culture writer Monica Weymouth.
