Time Makes Jim Frederick Assistant Managing Editor

Jim Frederick is the new assistant managing editor at Time, according to a memo obtained by FishbowlNY.

Time managing editor Richard Stengel announced the promotion this morning in an email to the magazine’s editorial staff.

Frederick had previously worked as senior editor in Time‘s London bureau, and before that headed up the magazine’s Tokyo bureau.
